On some e-commerce sites AuthorSure is placing an unwanted AuthorBox on product pages. The question is:
How do we configure AuthorSure NOT to show the Author Box on product pages but still show it on blog posts?
This solution depends on how the ecommerce plugin makes its product pages: are they of type page, post or are they are a custom post_type?
There are a features in AuthorSure that are worth trying.
Hide Author Box On All Pages
There is an option on AuthorSure Settings to hide the author box on pages – try this as a starting point. If the products pages are implemented with a post_type of page then this will work. See How To Disable The Author Box On All Pages for more.
Hide Author Box On Specific Pages?
AuthorSure also places a checkbox on the Edit Page editor so you can disable the author box on a post-by-post or page-by-page basis. Make sure your Screen settings at the top of the Edit Page you have the section “AuthorSure Settings” checked so it is visible. The AuthorSure Settings section will appear somewhere near the bottom of the page.

If neither of the above works then I would need to add one of following two features to suppress the Author Box.
Option A: Hide Author Box For Other Custom Post Types
If neither of the above works then this suggest that “product pages” are a custom post type. In which case I would add a section to AuthorSure so you could disable/enable AuthorSure for specific custom post type – so as well as ‘Hide on Pages’ you would have ‘Hide on Product Pages’
Option B: Hide Author Box For Specific Users
If all the products like your example above have the author as admin (i.e a specific user) and you do not want Google authorship for admin (i.e your blog posts are under different authors) then I can add a new feature so you can edit the User Profile and set an option not to show an author box for that user. For example Disable Author Box for this User? [ ]

I would welcome feedback in the comments below on the options suggested. Thanks
